Myself and small...

Oh my cheeky bommie drumsticks. :) She's just rushing ahead now she's up and at 'em on her feet. She never stops. Still pretty much the same personality wise, as in always smiling, Ergo and boobie is her best friend but she's doing a lot more. She'll sit now and scribble next to Sah, she'll follow Sah like a little pup.

She has also started to grab handfuls of Sah's hair, she wants Sah's toys and she'll scream like a raptor if woe betide somebody takes something off her. She can hop off the bed now and climb up the stairs within seconds. Teeth, teeth, teeth and she's eating a few times a day now! Until about a month ago she still didn't want anything but boob and now she'll graze on whatever she's given. She signs finished, boob, water...

So much to bless....

It's a beautiful age right now, to see Sahra fussing over her and guiding her...playing with her so gently. (not all the time! But most of it...)

It's been a busy month for me. Taking Sah to school, trying to do craft...sewing, knitting, etc. We had a spell of sickness for over a week which really took the energy away. Now I'm attempting to serve up some nourishing food and get our immunity back on track.

Really enjoying being around other like minded womyn, but also loving the peace of being in my own home with my family...

This is almost a year from the date when Si's placenta was planted...a beautiful rich red
'Sienna' rose...

An Autumn Lantern that I made for the Festival...

Winter fun....

I've been meaning to update for so long as both of the girls are growing so fast, but time seems to slip out of my hands. Finally though, a free moment!

The Big Girl:

She's so close to six she can breathe it in when she wakes, can taste it on her tongue. Our rhythm has been so peaceful that it took me a while to realise that for an age there's been no breakdowns. Four and Five saw a lot of frustration and outbursts and all I could do was sit quietly and let her know that I was there if she needed me.

Well, they've gradually been tampering down until it's pretty much peace here most of the time now. So incredible that we're out the other side! All of a sudden her mind is explanding and blooming like a rose. She'll go off to make things, ask for fabric and sew, I will look for her and she'll be finger knitting, or drawing, copying letters from books or like the other night, spend nigh on an hour writing her name and mine and then cutting out the letters and mixing them together, making a puzzle.

I'm so, so glad we have never introduced these things to her so that now that she's ready, she's doing it herself. Some pics that she's creating -

This is a picture of our house on the left, the Mudgeeraba show on the right and us all watching fireworks.

This is a rainbow dragon - it's happy. She's just started to draw animals. The legs are not on the ground, lol

This picture she said is drawn as a photograph which is why it's in a frame. First she said i was in the middle with her next to me, then she changed it to her in the middle. We are playing in the rain.

She's so focused on animals atm as well. She is so gentle with her dog now, and patient (most of the time) with her little sis. Teeth are falling out like Autumn leaves, she's lost nine now and she's not yet six! Feeling so blessed with our girl at the moment. School is going surprisingly easy - Sahra chooses her own rhythm. Some days she wants to stay home, others she'll ask to go. Last week she went for five days - first time all year.

This week she's gone three. We just don't fuss. We're all looking forward to the Winter Festival next week and then three wonderful weeks at home together, with a few play dates in between....

Really, though, it's all about making.

This was meant to be a post on our Winter thus far but I've run out of time...more of myself and smallish one later....
